Tabby, Adobe site lists your camera as compatible: http://www.adobe.com/products/premiere/dvhdwrdb.html?version=7.5&format=NTSC&brand=Sony&page=2
Also, I believe there is a generic setting in Premiere that as long as you have a fire-wire camera connection there should be no problem if you can't find your camera in the Adobe list. In regards to training, I have found that Total Training makes some of the best, if not the best, training available. They have the previous version of Premiere Pro (1.0) training on sale at $89.99 - http://www.totaltraining.com/prod/specials.asp?mscsid= There is free training available on the web - but if you really need to get going - I recommend the above Total Training package - many hours of DVD training. The version on sale is very close to the latest version - it should be more than sufficient to get you going. Happy editing, ---Jim K PS - if you still want a list of training sites let me know. tabbycat_22002 wrote: > > Hi I am new to Adobe Premier Pro.
