Lee,

Thank you! I think we've done it. Changing the Audio Rate Conversion to
"Best" certainly helped a bit, but there were still a handfull of
significant "clicks" that weren't acceptable. Lee, your tip on changing the
interleve to frames I think is what did it. The tracks sound clean now and I
can get this bad-boy wrapped up!

Thanks again Lee and all of the rest who have helped problem-solve this one,
Cameron

ameron,

I still get clicks & pops, so hopefully someone will have some more
suggestions, but this did help. Under your project preferences, go to audio
& change your rate conversion to "best quality". Your project may be at
48k, and the audio you are importing may be at 44.1k. This will convert the
rates at a higher quality. You can also change the interleve (same window)
to 1 second or 1 frame. This will put more of the audio into ram before
it's processed... it helped me a bit, but didn't take care of all of it.

Does anyone get a TON of clicking & popping when using the TC compressor?
It has been completely unusable on both of my computers. Running 6.5 on a
PC, Pentium 4, 1 gig RAM...

Dear All,

When I import audio tracks (mp3's direct from the original cd's) I
experience a lot of disturbance in the audio tracks. I hear clicks and
popping in the playback both in the working project and when it's exported
to quicktime. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Best,
Cameron
