this is something that i am also trying desperately to remedy myself. i have tried optimizing the audio tracks (project > project settings > audio) changing the interleave to "1 frame" and bumping processing options up to "best," and while this helps i still get skipping and popping. my audio tracks are clean and all mp3's have been converted to wav's. whew, it's 2am and i've got a final edit due to the client in the morning. please help!
