---Sheesh, do you really rate 12ms so low? It's definitely inferior to CRT
(which is almost nil) but that 12 doesnt sound so bad.
Just six months ago they were crowing about the Apple HD Cinema Displays
with their "revolutionary" 16ms response time!
Given that most of the crop of first gen LCD's were clocking at around 25ms
I daresay it's quite an improvement, unless of course you happen to be
a hardcore gamer.....Lord knows they're harder to please than even us
editors! ;-)

Since she has such a problem with flicker it looks like a CRT is pretty much
out of the question !
