Subject: RE: [AP] HD monitor connections

Now that I look at it, the Sony prosumer camcorders wouldn't be able
to plug into this adapter box. It accepts SDI video, and the prosumer
camcorders don't have SDI output. In fact, the only output I could
find on the Sony HDR-FX1 that supports full 1080i resolution is the
iLink (Firewire) port.

Does anyone know of an LCD monitor or adapter box that accepts
Firewire input? M Gray pointed me to the very nice looking Sony
KD-34XBR960 CRT that accepts Firewire and displays 1080i, but I
suspect it's a bit large for my computer desktop.

Thanks again,

Mike Boom
