With the Sony FZ1, you select in the camera what type of 1394 output you 
want (HD or SD).  You also select how you want to convert from 16:9 to 4:3 
(cropping, scaling, etc).  The SD timecode is the same as the HD, so you 
could use your NLE list from Pro to work with the HD or SD material.

Very slick camera so far.
