Also note, that only Photoshop CS and CS2 will support NON Square pixels, so if
you are using "old" Photoshop ( 6.0 or 7.0) you may need to change your image
aspect ratio to make your image "look correct" (in Photoshop), you may not
notice it if going to Photoshop is your final destination...but if you are
going to do some Photoshop magic and import it back into Premiere you will see
it isn't correctly proportioned.
Yes the deinterlace video filter works great !

To continue w/Daves post... after doing what he said, I'll take the frame &
import it into Photoshop. You can open up the filters & go to video where
there will be an option to deinterlace the frame. Depending on the shot,
deinterlacing may greaty improve the quality. You can also play w/other
filters, etc
