Eddie, did you press enter to render the footage that's on the timeline so there is no RED line above the timeline area? If not, then it will take hours or even days because it must be 1. rendered so it will be readied, 2. encoded for dvd. As you are using some film effect plug ins that will take a bit of time to 'prep' the footage.
