Tom, I have 4 editing suites and they are all SP2 with Premiere Pro 1.5.1 they all work well without any problem, what I found out during installation of SP2 is the machine should be checked to make sure some of the codecs are up-to-date, for example, one of the machine I had was having problem running anything after SP2 was installed, found out that the DVIX codec was of 1.5 and I needed 1.5.6 to work well, after updating it, it works.
So check your system for any issues, when upgrading to SP2, you need to make sure your drivers, are all updated. If it was answered, please forgive me, but I need a mental reminder. I reported when this thread ran a couple of weeks back, that my system works just fine with SP2 running AP Pro 1.0. While that is true, it is not completely true. Most of my work is limited to 4-6 minutes in the videos I am asked to deliver. APP was never a problem. When I tried to make a video 15 minutes long, I started getting "Adobe Premier failed to return a frame" error. When I uninstalled SP2, everything worked fine. I am sorry I gave incorrect information before. My question is this: Does Premeire Pro 1.5 'play nice' with SP2? Is it worth the upgrade? Thanks in advance for your help.
