Well, if you consider all that is involved so that your computer can compress several gigabytes of video data so that it can fit on a 4.7gb DVD, five hours is not bad. Yesterday, I had an hour and a half video, no menus, that I burned to DVD from within Premiere. I started the burn at 9am, and it finished just before 5pm. The transcoding didn't finish until about half an hour before it was all done. If you want to speed things up, make shorter videos!
