Premiere can't find the files because it looks on a diffirent
location, there're 2 ways solving this. you can relocate the files
manually when you startup you're premiere project, you can also use a
tool like partition Magic, to give your Harddisks the same drive
letters as before.
good luck, louk

> Hello,
>
> I recently had to format my main hard drive with Windows XP. My
Premiere project was on my second drive. After reformatting my main
drive I went to work on my Premiere project and found that it had been
wiped out! I am getting red screens in place of the scenes on the
timeline.

> After formatting my drive I notice that both drives name had been
changed to different letters. Can this have caused the problem? I made
sure while formatting my main drive that no files were erased from my
Premiere project that existed on my secondary drive that was not
formatted. Would anybody know if there is any chance of getting my
project back?
