You can make Premiere like your Divx file but re-encoding it with changing the
setting to 1 keyframe per frame.

Subject: [AP] Premiere pro 1.5 and DIVX5.2 ARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGG!!!

I know.... Premiere doesn't like DIVX. I get it, and until now I have
been abe to get it do do what I needed. I was real good at PLACE CLIP,
SAVE, RENDER WORKARE, SAVE, REPEAT. But last week something went
wrong, Terribly wrong. I tried to render my final and the file was
HUGE, 274 megs for 3 minutes. The rendered file looked like A Picasso
Painting. colors and images blending into each other. and since that
file I have been unable to render DIXV as the final product. I could
live with that, but it's gotten worse. DIVX files no longer thumbnail
on the timeline, and wont show in the monitor (yet will show to clip
them). The lastest effect is that preview renders dont save. no file at
all in the preview folder, and if I do a final render to another
format, i get Black screen, no sound.

My system Pentium 4 2.8Ghz 384 meg Ram on 60GB HDD running Windows XP
  home service pack 2

what I've tried so far Uninstalling DIVX and Premiere (both separately
in that order) then reinstalling, and i mean complete uninstall with
premiere. I cant find anything on the adobe site that even mentions DIVX
