If this was Digital Video camera like DV/HDV, the date code is hidden in the
captured DV file as annotation, and there is no need to remove it from there.
But if you captured video through the analogue input with camcorder set to show
date/time on the screen, you can't easily remove it, because it became part of
every frame picture. The only easy way is to re-capture the footage, if the tape
is still available.
