Lee, what software do you use to burn the dvd? (like if you use adobe encore to make the dvd, etc) Check the setting to see if it was encoding to dvd as dolby/ac3 files instead of just pcm stereo?

I'm just using the Main Concept Adobe encoder that came w/6.5. Will double check but I believe the client has been able to play some older DVDs I sent to him before I started increasing the bit rate, so I'm starting to narrow it down to that. I made a test DVD I'm sending out today w/the same short clip encoded at 8000k, 6000k & 4000k so I'll see if any of those will play. I need to re install Pro Coder Express on my machine & start using that again. Is there a better audio format to encode in than PCM?
