Hi Perry: I also have used the Blue-screen keying on premier pro and the results were positive. We shot a TV studio interview with Blue paper on the windows. Later we composited in a city view and tried both in and out of focus (DOF). It is most convincing with full motion video on both tracks. Still photos don't look that convincing. You're stuck with the video you've got, better 4:2:2 cameras might give better results, but most of us don't have them.
Watch out for shadows on your back screen (green or blue). Trick: Nest the sequence and apply the filter (or a different luma filter) to the sequence another time to cleanup residuals. Hope this helps; Robin Edwards San Francisco (or is it really? Maybe it's just a blue screen, and he's in Boise) --- In [email protected], Gregg Eshelman <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > --- Perry <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > Hey - newbie to this forum.
