That's the best way to go! What I always do is to create a PSD file with the same premiere project size even with the pixel aspect ratio setup correctly. Then leave it as no background and import to premiere.

There have been a couple different messages recently where the recommendation has been made that you should create a file in Photoshop, making one part red or green (or some other color), and chroma key it to produce some form of transparency, leaving the desired text or graphic visible. NO! NO! NO! If you are already using Photoshop (or just about any graphics program more advanced than MS Paint) you have all the keying power you need. Just make sure you are saving in a format that supports an Alpha Channel. (ie. .tif, .tga, .png, (and if you're using PS): .psd!!!) If anyone is interested in further information on using built-in Alpha Channels, there are dozens of websites with tutorials and guides. Just Google "alpha channel". --Andrew [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] Yahoo!
