MPEG-2 can be used as it own as .mpg

Windows Media uses its proprietary MPEG-4 codec.

Sorry -- can't help with PPro 1.5. Keep in mind that MPEG2 is a codec
that can be used within QuickTime, Windows Media, and other wrappers.
You might ask the TV station for more info about what they need:
resolution, interleaved or not, others.
