GL (Graphics Library) Really called OpenGL is more of an applications issue.
I don't think you will have an issue with a mother board.
If you are really interested do a Wikipedia search for OpenGL for more
detail. As far as fans...heat is our enemy, but they either have heatsinks
or
a fan as far as I can tell, look at this one for $30
