Oh, and question that it is an "incompatibility" problem, though I don't
know for certain. But I do know that Vista is XP enhanced, and also from the
tech forums, no one says anything about something not being compatible
between the two, except maybe for an XP driver issue - an "incorrectly"
written XP driver (according to MS many drivers did not correctly follow the
spec) can nevertheless work on XP but not on Vista, and those drivers have
to be updated to work.

So, for capturing on 7.0, I suppose it is possible the driver for the
capture device may need updating for Vista, but 7.0 itself should work -
sorry, of course I am just guessing here.

Subject: [AP] Premiere Pro 7.0 and VISTA?

Can someone please tell me if this is an incompatibility and I'm
going to have to buy a new video editing program or if there is
something that may have gotten set wrong when it installed? I've gone
over and over Preferences and Project Settings and can't find
anything that looks wrong.

Thank you!

Mary
