OK well, you're rendering an HD file, which is much larger than a
standard-definition DVD (720x576 PAL or 720x480 NTSC), so it's going to run
slower. What is your CPU and graphics card (memory doesn't matter)?

Yep, it's the one Adobe uses. The encoding won't be the problem as mpeg2 is
a standard, you only need to worry about the codec used for playback.

You can try this free Mpeg2 decoder (just uninstall it if you don't like it)
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=7420&package_id=123423

But unless you use ZoomPlayer, the only way to be sure it's actually used is
to uninstall the others (ie. you WinDVDs etc). I stronly recommend
ZoomPlayer, just do a basic install (don't install any of the codecs it
offers you). You can always uninstall it again.
