Hi,
I am Pinaki ([email protected])
I learnt video editing through Pinnacle Studio in my life when I
first edited video, it had a lot of troubles as I still think and by
then I swithed to Avid Liquid and learnt it, used it for a long time,
not to mention I still use Avid Products quite often. However I
finally swithed to Premiere Pro and it is more convenient way to use
Premiere Pro rathar than Avid, I think. Avid has some major
limitations than Premiere. Though Premiere has some limitations but
that can be handled in some way, but Avid's limitations consume the
time of edit when on a tight time schedule. Support for 3rd party
plugins are more available in Premiere than Avid. Complete support
for Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Flash is only possible
with Premiere to directly deal with. And I can mention a hundred of
reasons why Premiere is far superior to Avid. Though I never edited
in FCP, I don't have any idea about it, but I don't think FCP will be
a host of such features like Premiere. So at least the users like me
it is the ultimate choice to use Premiere Pro than Avid or other
softwares. If editing only is the matter then you can use any
software that supports the required format and your need, but if you
compare features and support of other major softwares into your
application then Premiere is the best choice.
Thanks,
