Hi Again,
I found the problem why I would not see the standard menu.
I did not have a button on it.
Added a button and there it was.
To make a backup of the menu save it as a file
In Encore click > menu > save as file
One thing still puzzles me.
The menus buttons etc are stored in Program files >Adobe>
EncoreDVD2>Library and the relevant section
Although the new menu is available in Encore, even in a new project, I
do not find it there.
I wonder where Encore saves it.
I added a new Folder with my name (in Library) and copied the saved menu
to it
You will now find a new section in Encore in which you find the new menu.
Suggest you save all your own menus there.
Uwe
The following is for Encore2, not sure whether it is different in later
cversions.
Create the menu in Photoshop and save as .psd
Open Encore
Import the file as menu
Now drag it from the Project panel to the Library panel in which you
want it stored.
You will be asked whether you want to store it as standard menu which
will be shown as .psd
or menu template which will be shown as .em
I used to do this in the past and to make sure that it is still correct
I tried it just now.
Had one problem this time:
When I want to store it as standard menu I do not see it in the list.
Dragging it a second time I am told file already exists. If I replace it
it is still not visible.
The menu template .em is there.
Please try it and let me know whether it works for you and whether YOU
see the .psd menu
Hope this helps
Uwe
