Well I never heard anything back from whomever edited the footage. It
was a High School football game and that was about 2 months ago. The
footage has been aired already on the local cable so I guess all was OK.
I never even seen the final version. Maybe if the situation comes up
again I'll look further into Stabilization. Sounds like Ed's comment
about the manual mode with keyframes would be good for an hourly paying
gig. And yes Steve I got stuck balancing the studio camera on my
shoulder. Of course minus the view monitor. i did have someone tagging
along pulling the cable. (hard wired back to the video truck). I don't
want to that again. I'm not a young chicken anymore! I'd probably enjoy
a sit down with wheels for side line shooting (and motorized) but too
many people on the side lines theses days.
