Is anyone aware of conflicts between Office 2010 and CS5? I installed Office
2010 yesterday and have been in a world of hurt ever since. Machine is a custom
build, Windows 7, i7 960. First had problems opening PowerPoint and spent
several hours with Microsoft Support, finally creating a new user account. But
my computer still isn't working correctly. Even though Office runs as it
should, it seems to be causing conflicts with a number of programs in CS5
Production Premium. Some programs, like SoundBooth, just won't open. Premiere
is very slow to open when it does I can no longer hear audio from the programs
I'm editing. In short, I've been living a nightmare and I feel I've been
victimized by Microsoft. I've reached the point where I'm about to uninstall
Office and toss it in the trash bin - and do a total reinstall of my OS. Any
insights would be appreciated.
