Turns out the cause of the audio problems I was experiencing with my Matrox 
mini w/Max and CS5 turned out to be some software settings. Each Matrox 
sequence has it's own settings for audio & video output. The check box to 
enable audio monitoring through my system sound card had become unchecked - not 
sure how that happened - but now that it's enabled, all is right with the 
world. I won't forget about this feature in the future! Thanks for all your
