Hi Gerry, AP is very good at manipulating files, but it does save time when you work with the native camera format you use. Its much easier and quicker in the long run to output your edit to something else than it is in, in the first place, rather than mess around with the settings beforehand AND after. I agree that (as you have obviously found), AP5.5 does have rather a lot of daunting native 'settings', which was supposed to help editors, not hinder them. :-)
Keep it stupid and simple; aka KISS. Let the program do its work after the edit, not before. Its much more rewarding.... Neil.
