hello,
i have recently switched over to premiere pro cs5. prior i was on cs3. cs5
works well. but each time a project is opened it would start generating the
peaks and building/conforming the audio. even the effects/transitions that were
rendered a day before would show a red bar hence require rendering.
can't understand why does this happen ? it was not the case with premiere 5.5
through cs3. once the files are imported peaks would be generated. here with
cs5 it generates peak for all files every single day for each project. if the
peak regeneration is not allowed and output is taken, it would have audio
delays or no audio.
plz suggest some measures so that the peaks be generated once only.
