Hi Rick, You don't say if your using a Mac or a Windows machine (or even a laptop). I can only guess you are using Windows.
I had to install Quick time on my newest laptop (Win7) before it would play back 'some' things, but I don't think that is the issue here. However, Premiere complained that I needed to install the latest Intel driver, even though its got an NVIDIA 2GB card inside, something to do with normal and turbo GFX I think, but I still cannot get it to part render in Premiere. (Not tried AE yet.) Maybe that's an issue for another day though. FYI, the 'Cuda supported cards' text file in the Adobe/Premiere folder is the one you modify for the Mercury (CUDA) engine nowadays. All I can suggest is grab the latest drivers for your machine and see what happens, if you haven't already. Cheers, Neil.
