Lee,
I have just made a DVD with the same type of play configuration.
For "play all" you create a chapter playlist including all chapters.
The chapter playlist will disregard any end action set to the individual
chapters and play from beginning to end.
You could actually do the same for a sub menu for one artist obviously
only including the chapters for his part.
You will have to set an end action for the chapter playlist.
To play individual songs (chapters) you have to specify the end action for
each chapter which you would want to be the sub-menu.
When the sub-menu comes up the next song will not be highlighted as you
would want to select any of the songs manually.
As far as motion backgrounds and animated buttons are concerned I have
found that that can get confusing if overdone.
Good luck
Uwe
