Good point, Uwe. I thought I had a powerful enough computer with a
screaming graphics card because it's handled everything else really
well without rendering. But dealing with all the stills strung
together and cropped chokes it, I guess. The trick is getting
Premiere to realize that it's choking and render it out. I'll try
your suggestion to add some further modifications to the clip. Maybe
color correction will tip it over into renderland in Premiere's eyes.
