Are the clips to be played all at one time, one right after another? Or
will there be gaps between them? If there will be time between each clip,
Here's what I would do:

Place each clip on it's own timeline. Create 3 different menus - with a
black background. Then on each menu, use the text tool to add a
single character (I use a period) to the menu, then convert it to a button.
Make sure it's color is black. I also edit the color sets used for
highlight and active colors so they are black as well.

Your goal, and what this gives you, is a completely black menu with a
single black button, making it effectively invisible. You set First play
to your first menu. You link the button in the first menu to your first
timeline. Your end action of the first clip takes you to the 2nd menu.
The button on the 2nd menu links to your 2nd time line... etc... On your
final timeline, the end action links back to your first menu, or a fourth
that goes nowhere.

When running it for the performance, you just have to hit enter or play,
the first clip will play, then take you to the second menu. Hitting enter
or play again will start the second clip playing etc. after the third clip,
you're back to a black menu and are done.

I use this method for any dvd I put together for public performance -
mostly at my church. This allows you to have the DVD player active on the
projector for an indefinite amount of time (assuming your DVD player
doesn't go to sleep, or to a screen saver after a preset amount of time),
then when you are ready to play back - hit play, and it's seamless from the
audience's perspective.
