FYI: seems that there are some problems regarding the database at BerliOS. A number of people experience the same trouble, but so far I couldn't find any official statement regarding this issue. We'll just have to be patient, I guess.
Also regarding the Wiki, I am halfway done installing mysql and php on my box, so I can (a) test the backups I made and (b) upgrade to a new version of mediwiki. We're still using 1.4.x, but 1.6.x is recent. Problem is, 1.5 is the last version to support mysql 3, which BerliOS is running (my hope is that the DB downtime is related to an upgrade of the database, but it's probably something completely different).
