Hello All

We have played around with bulk checkout in our library. We only have ten
recovery slots in our test library, single frame. What we did was have our
local IBM CE perform a teach to convert 20 internal slots to IO recovery
slots. This allows us to skip a day or two to remove any tapes from the
previous night. I know this defeats the purpose of offsite recovery. But
since this is for test it works for now.

Arturo

The state remain 'mountable' if it didn't get the chance to reach
the i/o
station, those already in i/o station will have the state of
'courier'
