I forget which book it was in, but there should be an Informix manual
that talks about setting up the environment to backup using Onbar.
If you are not the DBA, ask him to look for any Informix manuals that
cover backup/recovery.

TSM 3.7.2 on AIX 4.3.2 (3466-C00). Client is HP-UX 11.0 with Informix 7.31
fc4 and fc7.
Looking in the API folder that comes with TSM 4.1.1.0 client software, I can
see C code, includes, DLL's, libs, etc. The documentation is scarce. I
expect it's time to go surf http:///www.tivoli.com . Would you be so kind as
to point me to some docs, hints, etc?
Or, would this be found on the Onbar side??

But you don't need TDP for Informix! I have customers using Onbar to
backup Informix on HP-UX directly to the *SM API.

There has never been support for Informix on HPUX. However announcment
299-281 on IBMLink states that there is intent to release a 64 bit TDP for
Informix on HPUX in a forthcomming release. Unfortunatly I can not be
specific on what release that will be in.
