This is still only a work around. With a bit of poking around in the registry, it is possible to get the DSMCPERF.DLL to load and then to LODCTR the counters file PERFCTR.INI. However, the performance counters never detect any activity. Every maintenance and fixtest version of the Windows client ships with DSMCPERF.DLL and PERFCTR.INI, yet they don't seem to work. The install routines copy the files but either don't load them, or use references to TSM when the file is coded to look for references to ADSM. Are they being quietly phased out, or have they simply been forgotten about? Neil Schofield The information in this e-mail is confidential and may also be legally privileged.
