To backup NTFS files, the user also needs the "Manage auditing and Security
log" user right.

If you are using the schedule service, ensure the user for the service
(system by efault) has the rights to the files.

Subject: Winnt Archive error ANS5174E

I have a user that is trying to archive some of his files on a network
drive (W:).

He is getting the following error:

04/09/2001 14:49:27 TransWin32RC(): Win32 RC 1314 from NtSecurityRead():
getSecurityDescriptor() for SACL SD
04/09/2001 14:49:28 ANS5174E A required NT privilege is not held.

Using V3.7.2.01 of the winnt client and V3.7.1 of the OS/390 TSM server.
The user can create/read/update files in the folders
we get the errors on. We have DOMAIN C: N: W: coded in the dsm.opt file and
don't have any excludes that would be an issue.
No TSM server error messages just the client errors above.

Any ideas? Also, is www.adsm.org at the moment?

Thanks
