The "dump and sweep" method may not good solution here as taking Backup and dumping onto local/remote filesystem may take some time and then taking that flat file Backup onto TSM using BA client would more time & resource consuming process as the Database size is already more than 3 TB. I was really not sure about that option "1" - Leverage the new "S3" interface to the Spectrum Protect server (instead of the TSM API). Appreciate if you could able to share any reference technote for the same. Thanks.
