Hi everybody, I'm trying to find the best way to tune Linux disk caching, but the Blueprints are not mentioning anything about these parameters. On the Internet, I find some mixed information about tuning disk cache in a SAN environment, so I'm wondering what everybody else is using. If you are using SP with SAN storage attached, can you please send me the output from the following commands:
sysctl vm.dirty_ratio sysctl vm.dirty_background_ratio sysctl vm.dirty_expire_centisecs sysctl vm.dirty_writeback_centisecs Just for comparison reasons. Thanks in advance!
