Hi all,
another question regarding to Reload the TSM database:
In the Volhistory is an entry for each Volume of a Database Backup Operation and
there is a counter called "Backup Series"
After the Reload, I did a Database Backup and the counter (Backup Series) for
the Backup started again at 1 !
No my Problem: I cannot DELETE my old Database Backups from the Volhistory to
release my old DB Volumes because TSM means (after the DELETE Stmt) , that there
are no entries to delete. But the QUERY Volhistory command shows us, that there
are many of them (Look below!)
Our Server-Configuration is:
.) OS/390 V2 R9.0
.) Tivoli Storage Manager for MVS, Version 3, Release 7, Level 4.0
Any suggestions...?
Thank you in advance

Remark that the Backup Series Counter goes to 1893 and than the next Number is
2.
As a Test I deleted successfull the DB Backup with the Series-Number 1 - and
this worked well !
