I have not looked into an authoritative restore. From what I
understand, it is a way to boot a W2K system and restore the last system
state. I looked in the TSM 4.2 manuals as well as the 4.2 README and
was not able to find much on it.

Can somebody fill me on this new feature or point me to the docs.

What parameters did you use in the dsm.opt file to ensure the AD was
fully
backed up?

I found the Include.systemobject ALL works for 4.2.

Has anyone successfully done an authoritative restore using 4.1.2.12 of
TSM
on W2K?
