We currently run ADSM 3.1 on MVS and am looking to upgrading to TSM 4.2. We are trying to find a good method to migrate without having to buy another server and have another instance of ADSM/TSM on MVS. This brings me to the question:
Does anyone know if we can use TSM 4.2 client code to backup to an ADSM 3.1 server? If so, we could probably upgrade all the clients first in preparation for the TSM 4.2 server.
