The problem is reported in IC33645 and is only a problem with the TSM 4.2.2 backup/archive client; it has been addressed in TSM 5.1.0. We are working to provide more information about the specifics of the problem.

I had plenty of people reporting that problem with Linux after upgrading to 4.2.2.
