You'll probably get more help if you include more information, like:

Is this a new setup or when did it start happening?
Are you backing up to tape or disk? Multiple sessions?
Is this backup scheduled or how is it initiated?
How do you know all the data was sent?
What do the logs look like?
Where is it stuck or sitting on the client when you cancel the task?
What state is the client session in, according to the server, when you
cancel?

Hello,

We have a TDP for SAP R/3 for Oracle 3.2.0.8 in
Windows NT 4.0, and TSM Server 4.2.1.15 in Windows
2000.

when doing backup with for TDP SAP works correctly and
although the data are sent in their totality, the TDP
never indicates that backup to finished: therefore I
have had to cancel the task.

some suggestion?

regards,
Francisco
