we did this on an NT Box with this dsm.opt option:
postschedulecmd   "c:\ssw\tivoli\tsm\script\delete_access.cmd"

the script is like that:
del c:\apps\w32\proxy\proxy-%COMPUTERNAME%\logs\access.*

This makes a backup, and after finishing this, the postschedule job is
executed.
To give you a feeling how it works, look at the logfile: (sorry, only in
german)
