Charles, Bad news. TSM does not do cross platform restore. ie. AIX -> Solaris Windows -> Linux Novell -> Windows
As long as both of the TSM clients are on the same operating system. AIX ->AIX, Solaris->Solaris I think the TSM client have to be the same version also to be able to restore data from one client to another.
