What do you mean TSM only sees one - the TSM driver creates only one mtX.X.X.X device, you have only one in "Query DRives" or have defined only one path (server -> drive)? Manual drives are just like other ones. If you assume something like "def path manuallib srctype=server desttype=library dev=LBserver_room.human_operator" the rest is just the same. If drives are of same technology you can group them in "multi-head" library. If are different each drive type must form separate library. In your case: - if the problem is with the driver, handle it as usual - check first isn't Windows grabbing the drives before TSM driver. - if configuration problem, check that you have 1 library in "q libr <manual_lib>", 4 drives in "q dr <manual_lib>" and 4 paths (1 for each drive) in "q path".

There is a QUANTUM DLT 7000 SCSI attached 4 drive manual library. I am using the TSM device driver to see the tape drive. I can label and use a tape in one of the drives. The problem is there is 4 tape drives, but TSM only sees one. Is there a driver or configuration issue?? My experience in manual drives is very limited so any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
