They are normal yet they mean you took some hit on a tape drive. You will probably notice that the date time stamp on the files matches errors in your errpt. If you have a series of them for one drive they definitely point to a problem. We get them every so often. We don't get alot unless a tape drive has a series of problems and then after the problem has been fixed we delete the files. Becky
