ok so, let's say we upgrade TSM to 5.1.x.x, and then a couple of weeks later we upgrade AIX to 5.1 we can only go to the 32 bit and not the 64 bit version?

If you are going to go from Aix 4.3.3 32 bit to Aix 5.1 32bit then you have flexibility and you can do it for the most part in any order.
