Hi We are using RMAN for backing up our Oracle databases to TAPE through TDP.
Our observations are following. 1) Database Size :- 380 GB 2) Backup time thru RMAN :- 4 Hrs 3) Number of channels used :- 4 Channels Problem is when we try to restore the same for cloning purposes the restoration time is around 15 Hours to 24 Hours. Can anyone suggest as to what all are required to reduce the restoration time . Thanks & Regards Subbu
