Does anyone know the specifics on how TSM knows to backup a file vs. how microsoft looks at changed files? I have an application group that is into micro-managing their systems and they want to know why when they look at the number of files backed up from TSM, it does not match what they are looking at with Microsoft tools to see how many files had changed.
